Going back to my comments on art the other day, I've just seen photos of the latest Banksy exhibition: Barely Legal. My thoughts are that overall I really like everything in the show. It's subversive and funny and everything I love about his work. Except that it made me think, I'm not sure how much I like the idea of him remaking works that were originally grafitti so that he can sell them. I guess some of his best work is grafitti and it seems a shame to waste them when getting money allows him to do bigger and better stuff, like having a live elephant at his show.
There is at least one piece in the show that works on the same level as what I was discussing earlier.
