I applied for a job at the Museum of Contemporary Art a few days ago. The pay is twenty dollars an hour for what I assume is mostly standing around and answering the occaisional question or two. I find it kind of amusing that the Art Gallery of NSW is much more formal and serious and all their guards are old people whereas the MCA is a lot more fun and the guards are mostly young people who have studied or are studying Visual Arts. I was a little nervous at first but I could really use the money and the experience.
I also installed a (covert) traffic counter on the website to see what kind my audience is like. It seems I'm still getting a steady trickle from Maddox website each day. I'll give you a few more details over the week as the results become a little clearer. But for now my initial reaction: "More viewers than I expected but a lot less than I'd hoped - probably due to lack of comic updates to be honest."
Edit: I was looking at where people came from to get to my website and as expected almost all of the referrals were from Maddox's site, but there was one that amused me: search.msn.co.il/Search.aspx?st=1&q=sex horus
All you have to do is ask...
