I haven't really been coherent lately and there isn't much point trying to write when you're incoherent. At least it's not worth writing for other people anyway. I've finished reading Sabrial by Garth Nix and I'm onto Lirael. The books aren't bad, especially the first one. It puts the romance back in necromancer. Nudge, nudge, wink, wink, know what I mean?
Just about every fantasy book I've ever read fits quite nicely into a little theory I'm working on: Fantasy books are thinly veiled romance novels that boys can read without looking like a total sissy. No wonder they're so popular.
