teh Musix

I've been listening to some bizarre sounds lately:

It started with seeing an article about Prussian Blue in the newspaper. A pair of thirteen year old American twins that sing white power folk songs and cover skin head punk songs. I showed this to Manny because I thought it was kinda freaky. So of course five minutes later we're listening to their music and looking them up on the internets. Most of the interviews and articles I could find on them described them as "white positive" and they steer pretty clear around any racist issues. But at the same time they have songs that glorify nazi dudez so y'know it's pretty clear what's goin on.

Then like a day later I was channel flicking and I saw some American celebrity news show say they'd gone into hiding after recieving death threats.

So then Manny played me a song by mr Kravitz, butterfly, and to my OMG amazement it was actually good. Lenny managed to overcome his crippling lack of talent and made a nice song. I nearly died from pure surprise.

Then also via Manny I happen to hear some music by Manson. Charles. And I gotta say it was honestly pretty fucking good. I've only heard two songs, Home is where you're happy is pretty good but Look at your game girl is fucking great. It's very beatleseque but then as Manny put it:
"Well, I mean... Helther Skelter... y'know."
Possibly even better than his music was a sound file of Manson talking. Some of my favourite quotes:
"Remorse for what?"

"Maybe I haven't done enough, I might be ashamed of that, for not doing enough."

"Maybe I should've killed four, five hundred people, then I would've felt better."

"Believe me, if I started murdering people... there'd be none of you left."
I'm still thinking about this weekends comic but I should get it started some time today. Give me a break I'm still tired.
