Done: Like Dinner

I finished Harry Potter: Half-Blood Prince this morning. It was good as they usually are and the start was especially funny. I dunno what I thought of the storyline so much especially near the end. I think I'm mostly just disappointed that I'm gonna have to wait till next year for some more juicy wizard action. I reserve judgment till I've had a chance to read it again.

Apparently while Manny was reading his way through the series for the first time his girlfiend was reading the sixth book. Every now and then she'd yell out a poignant and/or funny part of the story. That is fucking shameful! But then he's whipped. Hard. So he took it like a bitch.

I've been trying to start the new Wheel of Time book this afternoon only it's like book twelve in the series or something. It's hard to get back into a book this far into a series without reading a few of the books that came before it to get some context. But I don't want to read a couple of books again before I start reading my new book and I definitely don't want to read Winters Shart again because that book sucked fat donkey schlong.

I don't want to read it if I can't remember half the stuff though. I know I could just read it without trying to work everything out and hope it clears itself up but I want to know what's going on. I've mostly been asking Benjam questions when I need reminding it's just that I'm about ten pages in and he's already losing his patience with me as he hasn't read it yet and he doesn't want it spoiled. Possibly the worst part is that there is a glossary at the back of the book but it's basically got all the obvious stuff in there but none of the stuff I need to know.

Fuck it's annoying.
