I want to learn one of those languages that hardly anyone knows. One of the useless languages like Esperanto or Lojban or Klingon or Elvish. It's tempting to learn a language that is useful, like French. If I'm going to go to all the effort of learning a language why not start with one I can use? But that kind of takes the fun out of it. I want someone to learn it with me so we can be rude and speak Elven in front of normal people. We can comment on their unsightly blemishes and cuss out their noisy children.
