I watched The Devil Wears Prada with my homies last night. I enjoyed it and Meryl Streep was especially awesome. She had this way of speaking quietly but with so much power. My favourite part was when she delivered this small attack at Andy's ambivalence towards fashion. From anyone else you would call it a rant but the delivery was so precise and softly-spoken, she was just stating the way things are.
Otherwise I would say it was a pretty ordinary film, not particularly insightful or innovative. I hadn't heard much (anything) about the film before I saw it and I think I expected it to be a bit more quirky or arty or something, I guess because of the name and the fashion theme.
