I'm a bit swamped with end of term assessments at the moment. I thought I had till next Friday to do my essay but it turns out I only have till Monday. I also thought that the written component of my presentation could be pretty brief and that would suffice. Apparently it's like 50% of the mark or something (it's due Wednesday). I also have an assessment of my studio work on Thursday which I don't really need to plan for, but I do need an excuse as to why I haven't started my next artwork.
So yesterday (before these startling revelations were made clear) I watched Kiss Kiss Bang Bang and I really enjoyed it. It's pretty funny and has the odd post-modern moment or two. Val Kilmer and Robert Downer Jr are both better actors than I thought and I enjoyed a lot of their banter although I missed some bits because people in the room wouldn't shut the fuck up. I liked the ending despite wishing some things had been tied up more conclusively. All in all it was a worthy use of my time.
