The Great List Affair of 2006

I present the list of things which are currently (Friday, 31 March) great (or at least relevent):

the Saga of Seven Suns by Kevin J. Anderson. I started reading this series ages ago and a while back my brother got the third book, Horizon Storms, I've only just gotten around to reading it though. It's not the best series I've ever read but it is enjoyable and it does give me something to read.

V for Vendetta was again not the best movie ever but it was good and it had admirable values. In all honesty I think a fair share of my enjoyment was due to patting (credit where credit is due). But the fight scenes were good, hugo weaving was pretty tops and the storyline wasn't shit. A true success story!

Friends are great (especially the non-bailing kind) and so is hanging out. I'd almost forgotten I enjoyed peoples company (the pub is still shit). Card games with friends are also good quality although I still prefer the bartoch way vs "point of order". Let confusion reign!!

Me. I rule pretty hard. Pretty darn hard.

I was talking to Manny about the possibility of applying for the FesteringAss community. I'm not sure how well we would (mis)fit into their collective but is that really an issue? We write and draw comics about video games, alcohol, women, and the now infamous "dick & fart jokes". I'm sure that's not too much of a stretch. We probably won't get in, but if we do then Manny will be making a serious effort to draw lots of comic, especially if we get decent money from the advertising because that would mean he could do it full time. So while we're quietly pessimistic we both believe it's worth a shot.
The highest grossing site, TuckerMax.com, generates gross revenue in the low five-figures every month, but that site generates a huge amount of traffic. The lowest grossing make a few hundred a month
Sounding pretty great to me.
