Private Dick! HA!

I don't feel guilty about enjoying Veronica Mars. It's a funny show, with a mini-plot every episode and an over-arching main plot that isn't hung on sexual tension between two characters that can never be satisfactorily resolved. I'll admit I thought it was a bit cheesy at first and I did feel a little sting when I tuned in. But that's all in the past, I've come to terms. I just enjoy it too much to care what anyone thinks. On top of that Joss Whedon guest starred in an episode which helped.

The thing I like about Veronica Mars is the same thing I liked about Buffy and Angel and Firefly and even the OC and Lock Stock and Snatch and Pulp Fiction and Reservoir Dogs: "The Banter" They all have it and I love it. Put a show in front of me with a reasonable plot and decent acting and I'll probably not care but the minute you throw some witty banter in there? I roll over. I'm that easy and it doesn't bother me one bit.

Perfect example (totally paraphrasing here), Keith Mars with camera in hand tells a bad guy:
"The next time I shoot you it won't be digitally. Unless I hit you in the finger and then we'll both have a big laugh about it."
If that doesn't make you wet then none of this matters much anyway because you're a corpse. And probably not even a sexy corpse I'll bet. Definitely not a witty, banter-loving, vampire corpse and we all know they's the hottest ones.
