Ok so today I've been thinking about drawing some more. Specifically about the software and hardware I want.
Software: The vectors, I need the vectors! I found a vector drawing program "DrawPlus 4.0 Graphic Design and Vector Drawing" that can be downloaded for free. But being technologically inept I'm a bit worried about downloading things I don't understand. (I don't want the internet STD's). The other option is to just go get Adobe Illustrator, it won't cost me that much and I know it will be good (and clean). I just need to get some advice and then a decision will be made!
Hardware: I want a tablet. It doesn't have to be huge but it has to be adequate. I honestly don't know if a 4"x5" tablet would be just fine or if I really want a 6"x8" monitor. I also don't know if I want a Graphire4 or Intuos3. Apparently the Graphire is pretty decent in terms of software and usability but the Intuos is more sensitive, especially in terms of angling the pen. So it's a matter of do I need the extra size and do I need the extra sensitivity? And if I do then am I prepared to pay for them?
I really need to find some place where I can just sit down and play with all the stuff so I can find out what's comfortable and convenient and what I really need.
