Star of Stage and Screen

Firstly, there won't be a comic today. I'm too lazy and you're too ungrateful. I've had other things on my mind lately anyhow. Mostly eating and sleeping to be honest but I've also been helping out a friend with a film he's making. I wasn't really sure if it was gonna happen so I haven't talked about it much. Plus there hasn't been much to talk about. But last night was the first night of filming, of course I hadn't bothered to learn my lines (there's that laziness coming into play again). In the end it took me like two hours to remember my lines enough for us to get through a shot relatively intact and that was only thanks to Fitzy (one of my fellow actors) who took the time to whip me into shape.

The guy making the film is an old friend from High School who I talk to every now and then. He asked me if I was interested in making a film mostly because I was one of the few white guys he knows. Although my disshevelled appearance and lack of style probably helped (I played a homeless person). The film is for Tropfest so if it goes well that would be very cool. My friend wanted us to go for the acting award, but I have a feeling it's not going to happen.

I watched a movie with Kahlua the other day. We saw "tha Lion, tha Witch and tha Wardrobe".
My view of the movie was that it was good, but not great. It did a good job of depicting the world of Narnia and the events of the book but it wasn't like fucking brilliant or anything.

*Goddamnit* Fine lady be distractin me with her webcams.

This morning I watched some truly awesome home videos of me as a young terror. I was basically the manliest child ever. At one point I dropped off a flying fox at the highest point and just stood up and dusted myself off. I then scampered up to the top of a rope-pyramid climbing frame (all monkey-style) and shook all the other kids off.

It turns out that I'm the King of the World and all the men on my ship have super-cannons and rifles.
