I caught the second half of an old black and white movie last night. It was to have and have not with Humphrey Bogart and Lauren Bacall. It was surprisingly funny and the dialogue between Steve (Bogart) and Slim (Bacall) was great. Eddie as a bumbling drunk was generally pretty over the top but had his moments as well. I'd quite like to see the whole thing.
There's something about women from previous era's that just looks so different to women of our time. The fashion was different sure, but can that account for the totally alien look? Perhaps. Whatever the reason I don't think there's any accounting for how hot Bacall was in this movie.
